Welcome to BAA

Celebrating 31 years of service, the Black Awareness Association (BAA) is dedicated to educating, empowering, and uplifting our community through the celebration, preservation, and promotion of Black American heritage.

We are committed to fostering awareness, understanding, and appreciation of the rich history, cultural contributions, and lived experiences of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) throughout Southeast Alaska.
